Our Awards

If we didn’t like the limelight as much as a pop starlet, it would almost be getting embarrassing with all the awards around here. Since opening in 2002, HBC has racked up more than a dozen major awards for its work, including honors from PR Week, the Legal Marketing Association, Bulldog Reporter, The Communicator and PR News.

In 2007 we received honors from the Legal Marketing Association (Best Media Relations), Bulldog Reporter (Social Media Tools), PR News (Best Blog), PR Week (Honorable Mention), The Communicator, MarCom (Gold award) and the ABA Journal (“Blawg 100”).

In 2008 we continued our roll when John Hellerman was inducted into the highly prestigious College of Law Practice Management and received PR News’ coveted Agency Executive of the Year award.  That year we also received PR News’ award for Best Blog and an LMA Your Honor Award for Best Media Relations, and HBC was included for the first time on Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Private US Companies list. 

In 2009 we made Inc.’s list again, this time jumping more than 800 points, and we also received PR News’ Legal PR award for Best Press Release and a MarCom Gold Award for Communication Planning. One of HBC's own, Andrew Ryan, was honored by PR News as one of 15 PR Pros Under 30 to Watch.

We anticipate 2010 will be another award-winning for HBC.  In Febuary, we racked up a PR News Legal PR award for our Outstanding Media Relations Work During Litigation, and we were recently named for the third consecutive year to Inc.'s 5000 fastest growing private companies.
