HBC understands the pressures firms face when hiring outside communications counsel, so we're flexible and willing to consider any billing ideas you might have or methods you may prefer.

Typically, our engagements are billed hourly against a reasonable monthly minimum, but in response to many requests from clients to access our award-winning services for their limited-scope, short-term PR projects, we've also developed a service menu we call "HBC A La Carte Services," whereby we bill flat fees for individual deliverables that may collectively make up a campaign.  It can be used in conjunction with a yearly PR budget or instead of one, and it allows clients to use our services on an as-needed basis for content ranging from bio rewrites and press releases to LinkedIn account optimization, award submissions, and general media relations deliverables (e.g., interviews, bylines, speeches, etc.).  A La Carte Services fosters a constant dialog between us and our clients about what's valuable to them, allowing them to accurately predict and deploy their budgets.  It places the risk on us and provides a tangible, results-oriented measure of our services.

Regardless of the engagement model you choose, we offer generous courtesies for significant advances and/or long-term commitments.
