Caitlin Fisher

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

As a native Washingtonian, Caitlin Fisher always knew she wanted to be a part of the city's exciting political scene. This lifelong interest in politics led her to the University of Chicago, where she braved four years of historically cold winters to graduate with a degree in political science.

At Hellerman Baretz Communications, Caitlin heads the firm's marketing, advertising, and business development activities. Caitlin has worked on a number of crisis communications and litigation PR matters, as well as numerous media relations campaigns, coordinating opportunities in a wide range of local, national, and trade media. She has planned several award-winning events within the legal and financial services industries, including a book party and a securities symposium and film screening. In addition, she maintains HBC's social media presence and coordinates Cool Coaching, a social media training program for attorneys. She also manages day-to-day client service operations, ensuring that HBC's clients receive superior service from the Hellerman Baretz team.

Before joining the HBC team, Caitlin worked at John Adams Associates, a small public affairs and issues management firm in Washington, providing assistance to trade associations, science and technology companies, and a number of international clients. Caitlin also worked at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where she contributed to reports on topics such as energy, national security, religion and foreign policy, and public opinion.

Caitlin graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, where she remains an active member of the Alumni Schools Committee. During her senior year at Chicago, she completed a large-scale thesis project, which used US actions in Rwanda, Somalia, Haiti, and Bosnia as case studies to explore which factors played a role in the Clinton administration's foreign policy decision-making process.

Caitlin is a member of the Legal Marketing Association, Law Firm Media Professionals, and Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. She also maintains the Young PR Pro blog column on HBC's Sound Bites blog and has spoken at conferences on networking and career development.
