Military Employer Partnership

The Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces was created as a way to provide America’s employers with a direct link to some of America’s finest employees: Service members and their families. Through the partnership, service members can leverage their military training and experience for career opportunities in today’s civilian job market with national, regional, and local Employer Partners.

This partnership also facilitates the transition that comes with a leave of absence from the civilian workplace to serve the nation. With military training and deployment schedules, service members and their families can better prepare for a leave of absence and employers are afforded a more predictable picture of their future staffing needs. Employers may also see potential cost saving in recruiting and training. The partnership is a win-win situation for service members, employers, and the nation as a whole, and HBC is a proud participant.

NAWL

The National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL®) is the only national women’s bar association with individual and organizational members nationwide, including law firms, law firm attorneys, corporations, in-house counsel, government attorneys, law schools, and law school professors. NAWL is committed to fostering diversity and advancing women in the legal profession. HBC works with NAWL to promote its annual Survey on Retention and Promotion of Women in Law Firms, the only national study of the nation’s 200 largest law firms which annually tracks the progress of women lawyers at all levels of private practice, including the most senior positions, and collects data on firms as a whole rather than from a subset of individual lawyers.

Bisnow

HBC partners with Bisnow, a nationwide media company that published two dozen daily, niche-focused e-blasts in cities across the country. HBC’s “Sound Bites” feature appears in Bisnow’s Washington legal publication, Legal Bisnow. Archives of Sound Bites can be viewed here.
